The Safehouse was founded around its Forums. They are a great place for both sharing knowledge and social interaction. Friendships have been born here and memories forged that some of us will never forget. We pride ourselves in the unique community we have all built, and because of that we have become very protective of it. In hopes of preserving what some call a "second home", we ask you to follow a few simple rules.
Watch your language. The Safehouse is visited by people of all ages and backgrounds. Please keep it clean and respectful of our global community. This includes religious swear words.
Please post in the appropriate forum. Don't be upset if we move your post to a more appropriate forum. We very rarely delete posts. In the event you find your post “missing”, please attempt to locate it in what might be a more appropriate forum.
Avoid personal attacks. Debate opinions, not the people behind them. This includes posting images as a representation of your attack.
"In game" drama is a no-no. Please refrain from using defamatory remarks toward specific individuals or guilds. If you must rant, use the Rant Hall and don't use names.
The Safehouse respects the integrity of the games we promote. Discussions that go against their respective EULAs and NDAs, or detailing exploits will be deleted.
The Moderators here at the Safehouse have a monumental task watching these forums. Due to the vast number of members and the incredible number of posts per day, we sometimes do not manage to immediately catch all rule violations. Please try and avoid taking matters into your own hands when you see someone violating any of the rules. We would respectfully request that you simply report a questionable post using the report button above the offending post, send a private message to a moderator online, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take action ASAP.
The Safehouse Staff decisions, including locking threads or banning members, are final. If you have concerns regarding an incident, please feel free to discuss the matter with us via email or private messages (PMs). We can be contacted individually via private messages, personal emails, or through the email@example.com mailing list. Do not create a new topic or reply in an existing topic simply for the purposes of questioning a moderators decision.
Do not post links to pornographic or other obscene sites.
Please respect the fact that some people visit our boards from work, school, or potentially in the vicinity of children. Links to questionable content (i.e. audible profanity, explicit artwork, or multimedia funnies) should denote a clearly labeled Not Safe For Work (NSFW) warning. Please take into consideration the advertising banners on any of these links as well. We all have senses of humor, but please use common sense.
Do not use the Safehouse forums for advertising purposes.
Guild recruiting is acceptable, provided it isn't spammed or incessantly bumped. Make a single post and answer questions as needed
"Spamming" is not allowed in any fashion. The repeated posting of the same topic across multiple forums, or even within the same forum qualifies as “Spam”. This also includes posting simply for the sake of increasing your post count, bumping threads, or posting “I like pie” 1000 times.
If you receive a week ban do not rely on us to remember when its up. It is your responsibility to send us an email once your ban is over. Simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your ban is over and we will remove it.
Attempting to bypass a temporary ban by accessing the forums with another account will result in a perma ban.
This code of conduct is the short form that outlines our Don’t be a Dink mantra. If you need it spelled out for you further, please refer to the long form (i.e. the Acceptable Use Policy), in which all users are under agreement when using our forums. If you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com .

You will not attempt to access any protected sections of the sites or Forums, nor make use of any hacks, cracks, bug exploits, etc. to bypass or modify the features of the forum software.
You will, if asked by a Safehouse representative, cease posting any content, and/or links to content, deemed offensive, objectionable, or in poor taste.
The moderators of The Safehouse do not and cannot review all of the content of every message posted and do not accept responsibility for the contents of any messages. We reserve the right to delete any message and/or restrict posting rights in our Forums for any reason whatsoever. Should you continue to post messages that violate the rules of the Forums, your account may be terminated, your access to the Forums may be banned, and your service provider(s) may be contacted about your behavior. Furthermore, we expressly reserve our rights under the law to take any other actions we deem necessary.
The Safehouse reserves the right to disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal process served on The Safehouse, protect and defend the rights or property of The Safehouse's network of sites, or visitors to The Safehouse, identify persons who may be violating the law, the legal notice, or the rights of third parties, and cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities.
(UPDATED 6/1/07) The Safehouse attempts to provide an atmosphere that supports the general population. That said, we strive to keep the load times of pages to a minimum. Although we support the creative minds of our rogues, we ask that you adhere to these simple rules when using your avatar and signature files.

Only post your custom signature ONCE per thread. Simply uncheck the "Show Your Signature" box in the “Miscellaneous Options” section when posting more than once in a thread.

Shehab Aldean must post with a French accent every Monday and Thursday.
Posting drunken, Fan Faire pics of Aidden are grounds for banishment from the Safehouse...
By a default automated process, all posts made under the Darthender account will subtract 3 from that account's total post count. This balances the rogue Chi.
