Has anyone else noticed the huge amounts of dps the monks are putting out since VoA?

max hit = 225296 - Convorteum 6 Kilrek the Cleaner

2 monks , max hit = 114867 and 118463 - SS1 Executioner

2 monks, max hit = 227735 and 155731 - SS1 Lawman Rurk

max hit = 149149 - SS3 A Deepsea Leviathan

max hit = 236427 - SS4 Lord Silifore ( used 7th )


Thats just the max hits on the parse, there is multiple 6 figure damage hits, and I havent been able to get 6 figure with any backstab in raids since VoA.

Thats with not using any glyphs either.

Huge damage != huge DPS. Whether that is huge or not depends on their relative DPS to other classes.

They got a discipline that when stacked with other things can do a big hit that you see. It is reusable once every 10 min i think.
Just the one hit though not a duration.

monks dps is good in voa, our dps as well.

ya just talked with the monk, it is 2 hits actually and a new 93 disc, didnt ask duration but guess it matches up with our poisons some what.

Used to looking at the max hit to see what kind of poison procage the rogues got, and was surprised at the 250k hits lol.

in our guild it is a monk and berzerker sharing the number one spot and very rarely a rogue pushing them to 2nd and 3rd.

In my guild it's wiz/monk/ranger with a rogue thrown in there every now and then. Seems though in our Dec AA we'll be getting a lot towards sustained with HHE and shorter disc timer on assassins. But the way we are looking at the start of the expansion compared to casting classes is pretty good. We are usually far behind at this point.
